A long time ago, when gods and giants ruled the world,there was one giant who was stronger than all the others. After he had killed all the other giants he began to fight the gods. The gods worked together and killed him. He was enormous, too big for anyone to bury and so he was left where he had died. Over the years sand and land covered him until there was nothing to be seen except for his hand.  Legend says that giants get power from trees and when the tree is as tall as a giant, all giants will rise again.
