Grainne

Everyday on the way home from school I pass a homeless man. It makes me so thankful that I have a home. Each time I pass him I wish to speak to him. One day I built up the courage to say”hi”. He has a shiny silver tooth. He is extremely thin. I think it’s because he can’t afford proper food. I was warned not to talk to strangers, but I felt I had to talk to him. We actually became good friends. In his pocket he carried a tiny yellow book called ‘Hopeless, by Alex Murphy. In the end, the homeless man and I lived happily ever after!
