It was a very cold blustery winter’s night. All my family were sitting around a lovely warm fire in our sitting room. We were trying to watch television but it was difficult to hear it because of the noise of the strong wind outside. Then suddenly all the lights went out and we were in total darkness. My sister and I were now getting quite scared of the wind. We were panicking because we couldn’t find a light. Then I remembered that I had a torch on my phone. My parents lit some candles and started to tell some stories. Suddenly the lights came back.
